Fleur-de-lis, muscle repair and lipo  - March 2021 After approx. 2 years of extensive research and observing results in preparation of my long awaited Tummy Tuck (20 years), I selected Mr Winterton as my first choice surgeon. With that, I made contact with his PA, Vicki, who arranged my first consultation. From the very start Vicki was efficient, responsive and friendly. As the first point of contact and therefore my first impression, she represented & continues to represent Mr Winterton perfectly. At my first consultation and after a very thorough examination, Mr Winterton, advised me I was a candidate for either a standard Tummy Tuck or a Fleur-de-lis. He explained clearly and concisely what results I could expect from both procedures, the benefits and drawbacks. For me the decision was simple, before I'd even entered his consultation room, I was hoping for a Fleur-de-lis. Whilst I fully understood the additional vertical scar is a trade-off too far for some, for me I just knew that unless the upper torse was addressed alongside the lower Tummy, I would never be fully satisfied with the end result. I spoke to Mr Winterton about my areas of concern, my expectations and feelings towards to FDL scaring as opposed to just a simple lower horizontal scar and talked about how I wanted to look and feel better about my appearance in clothes. On hearing this, he was in agreement that a FDL was the right choice for me. Whilst the thought of looking wonderful in a bikini and getting admiring glances on golden sands might be very appealing, it's probably not too realistic.... I'm practical enough to look at my starting point and what I was giving him to work with. I was 51 at the time, close to the max. end of acceptable BMI and have sustained large weight losses and gains over the years. He's a very good surgeon, but not a miracle worker!, haha. As I was so well researched prior to my first consultation, I knew and expected Mr Winterton to be professional and competent, but what I hadn't expected was his very understated, considerate and gentlemanly disposition. He has a quiet confidence that really appealed to me and I found so reassuring. He listened with intent, giving me time and attention when talking to him about about my wants/don't wants, likes/dislikes, and hopes for the end result. As my expectations were very realistic, and because we had a mutually honest conversation, I felt we were on the same page from the off, and before the end of my consultation, I was in no doubt that Mr Winterton was the surgeon for me. He advised me what the next stages would be, i.e. I'd receive a letter within the week outlining all we had discussed at this meeting. Then, if I wished to proceed further,  to speak with Vicki to book my surgery date and arrange a second consultation to go through everything again ensuring we both understand and agree the surgery plan. Aftercare - I now realise I had underestimated the importance of aftercare. I'd focused all my time on researching surgeons and the tummy tuck options, and given very little thought about post op aftercare and what to expect. I have been very lucky and only experienced a couple of minor healing concerns. As these things were completely new to me and I had no idea if they were normal, I felt I needed Mr Winterton's advice. Timing is everything and unfortunately, on the 2 occasions I have directly emailed him, it's been a Bank Holiday weekend. On both occasions he has replied to me within 2 hours. How amazing is that?! Not once in this whole process have I felt alone in managing my wounds or that I couldn't contact Mr Winterton, who went out of his way to ensure I was happy, comfortable and satisfied with his advice. Fast forward 11 months and I can't put into words how happy I am with my results. I am healing beautifully, my scars are neat, I love my belly button (now I can see it) and wow, my hour glass curves!!! Expectations of how I now look were not only realised, they were surpassed. However, just as importantly, is how my surgery has made me feel. I regained a confidence I thought had gone forever. I'm not young or slim, but I feel happy, confident and feminine with my shape and curves. I know how someone feels about themselves is completely out of Mr Winterton's hands, but I'm in no doubt my new found confidence is 100% down to this lovely man and brilliant surgeon. I had a standard tummy tuck with muscle repair and lipo I can not express how happy i am with not only my results but with everything else included that some people forget to mention Mr Winterton is a thorough, honest, trust worthy, talented surgeon and I couldn't be happier that I choose him as my surgeon His secretary is also amazing the communication was always 100% All the staff at the hospital was just lovely along side the hospital itself. And my results well what more can i say they are to me outstanding ! So I thank Mr Winterton and his team for truly changing my life for the better. Laura Bland

I would highly recommend Rob and his team. I had implant removal in June with fat transfer and I have been extremely pleased with the results so far. Every care was taken before, during and after my stay.

After reading many positive reviews about Dr Rob Winterton, I decided to book myself in for a consultation to have a fleur-de-lis style tummy tuck as well as a breast uplift following a 5 stone weight loss, which left my skin considerably saggy. Straight from the first consultation I learned that he was a very caring and gentle man, who counselled me through all of my fears. I was assured right away that not only was I in the hands of someone who had exceptional practice in the procedures I was after, but that he was also going to ensure I recieve tailored expert care and attention throughout the procedure itself, as well as the aftercare. Rob helped me to manage expectations as he walked me through what I was going to expect during and after the procedure so that there were going to be no surprises at any point. He remembered my name and face, as well as what we had discussed in the prior consultations, so I always felt that I was more than just a patient number under his care. After a very successful procedure, Rob continued to be there whenever I needed him and was only ever a phone call or email away if I ever needed him for advice, and has been there for me ever since. Rob is highly professional, dilligant and gentle, and takes great pride in his work. He shares the elevation of the patient, when they are delighted after seeing the incedible results he has given to them. He is incredibly caring and will go to any lengths to ensure that his patients feel calm, protected and well looked after. His results have changed my life in so many ways, and for once I am not only proud of how I look, but how I feel in myself. I owe this to him and his incredible team.

After years of large uncomfortable breast implants, on recommendation from another I visited Rob for a consultation. I wanted breast implant removal (explant) and was convinced that I would also need an uplift. I asked for his expert advise and after he had examined me his recommendation was to have the less invasive surgery of an explant without the uplift. He advised me that he didn't feel I would need an uplift and that I would be surprised with my results and to leave my breasts for 6 months after surgery before making any further decisions. This is the best advise he could have given me. 6 months on I am more than happy with my natural breasts and so glad I didn't go ahead with the uplift. The whole team are all extremely helpful and they all put you at ease from start to finish of your journey. Nothing is too much trouble. 100% recommend Rob Winterton for surgery.
